Guilty Good Pastries

Sweet & Savory Treats Based on Asian American Food Memories

Guilty Good Pastries was founded by Elizabeth Kim, a former teacher of eleven

years, who is now pursuing her childhood dream of opening a bakery that

represents her Korean-American heritage.

When thinking of how she wanted to

define what she was bringing to the table, two words kept coming to

mind – comfort and nostalgia.

The flavors are cross-cultural with a mix of classic

American and Asian flavors based on Elizabeth’s food memories from childhood.

Through Guilty Good Pastries, Elizabeth hopes to bridge the separation between

“American” bakeries and “Asian” bakeries–a place where second generation

Americans of immigrant parents will feel represented but also where adventurous

eaters from all backgrounds can explore new flavor profiles.

Try one of her

signature bars/buns/pies, and you’ll see–it’s a kind of good that’s “guilty good”!
