Culinary Collective is a family-owned & operated collection of private and coworking commercial kitchen spaces in the Frankford Arsenal for Philly’s thriving local culinary entrepreneurs.

Our kitchens are home to over two dozen talented chefs, food trucks, caterers, and other local culinary brands…. and growing! We are committed to serving and supporting the local food community while building a diverse and inclusive space for those who share the love of food and a solid work ethic.

Becoming a member of Culinary Collective is easy.

We offer one set monthly fee. There are no long term commitments and no surprise fees. Our spaces are exclusive to a limited number of members which means there will never be “too many cooks in the kitchen.”

“Working in a commissary gives life to the old age of borrowing a cup of sugar from a neighbor. While you’re running your own business independently, you have the ability to tap into a network of people around you. There are a bunch of other business minded people with whom you can discuss opportunities, work out a new recipe concept, or heck even borrow a cup of sugar”

Testimonials

“Starting a business is challenging and scary. Working out of a good commissary kitchen is a great way to learn from peers that have done it or are doing it. The networking alone is so worth it. Make you feel as though you are not alone”

-Byz Empire

“Working in a community of diverse people with diverse cuisines is a great learning experience. I love that I can gain expertise from everyone around me. Being surrounded by others and not being in your own four walls also means there are opportunities to share or borrow friends equipment in a pinch. I also love having colleagues palates to test what I’m working on and get feedback!”

-Ulter Catering

“Culinary Collective is a game changer. We’ve been part of the Weizer family kitchens for almost 9 years and it’s one of the key elements to our success. It’s truly a family and we’ve learned, grown, and succeeded together. Working in a kitchen next to so many talented businesses and professionals over the years has shaped us professionally and personally. It incubates, facilitates, and encourages. There’s always someone to turn to if you have a question…food, business, life, you name it.”

-Mom Moms

"The best part of working in Culinary Collective's commissary kitchen is when you come up new menu ideas, there is always someone who you can discuss them with or who can give you the feedback on them. We share our experience with each other and we learn from each other. We work like a big family and prepare different cuisine in the same kitchen.”

"We are so grateful for all of Culinary Collective's support, hard work, and dedication to all the small businesses they work with. They were instrumental in getting our little catering business off the ground and to where we are today. They have gone so far beyond simply providing a place for us to cook. They've given us so many opportunities to grow and expand our business: promoting us for bookings at BLDG39, providing marketing/promotion, and being so flexible and accommodating to make sure we can be successful. It's not an overstatement in the least to say we would've never been able to open the new space without starting at Bridesburg -- and more importantly, would've never had the ability to expand our team and make a living for us and all of our staff. We know how much work and effort they have put into their business and their commitment to doing everything they can for their tenants' success is apparent."
