Chief 10’s Smokehouse

BBQ Food Truck

Chief 10’s Smokehouse was started in 2020 by Mike Barron and his wife Melissa Barron. Their namesake is in honor of Mike’s grandfather, Joe Barron. Joe was a retired Philadelphia Fire Chief, and a retired Fire Chief of Spring Garden Township in York, PA. When Joe passed away in March of 2020, it was the driving force for Mike to keep his legacy alive. Smoking meat and cooking for family has always been a great enjoyment to Mike. The more he smoked, the more he mastered it. Why not turn something you love into a career and business that you love? They are passionate about what they do, and it brings them so much happiness to make their customers smile with a great bite to eat! Their goal is to be able to give back to local fire stations, as well as other first responders, in honor of Pop!

Their truck menu varies depending on time and location, but brisket and pork are always a staple because they are the most loved! They love a nice warm bowl of macaroni and cheese or brisket chili too!

Chief 10’s Smokehouse offers catering as well as truck rental. You can check out their catering menu, but keep in mind they will do what it takes to make their customers happy! With that said, do not be afraid to ask for items that are not listed on their menu, and they will do our best to be as accommodating as possible.

Chief 10’s Smokehouse is excited to be moving into the Culinary Collective to get into that community atmosphere and also be a part of supporting our neighbors!
