Aruba's Halal Kitchen came to life on a busy weeknight when Aruba, a mother of two, dashed into the grocery store searching for a quick frozen dinner. Finding no halal options, she improvised. That experience stuck with her. Aruba then resolved to create easy weeknight meal solutions for families who prefer Hand-slaughtered Halal meat options.
She started cooking in her kitchen and friends' kitchens, eventually moving to a commercial space while managing her kids and a full-time job.
With her best friend stepping in as COO, they have been able to achieve even more together.
