Angie’s Vietnamese Cuisine

Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine

Contrary to popular belief, the owner of Angie’s Vietnamese Cuisine is Lynh Pham. Lynh grew up in a household full of Vietnamese immigrants, and there was never a lack of delicious home cooked meals. Her parents often spoke about opening their own restaurant, but the dream never came to fruition. Countless hours were spent helping cook dinners and special treats during Vietnamese New Year. Lynh’s love for cooking grew, so it seemed natural when she began working in the industry.

For the next 16 years, Lynh worked in the restaurant industry working various positions from cashier to regional manager and everything in between. A love of cooking developed into a love for operations. Following a cancer diagnosis in 2017, Lynh promised herself to go after the ultimate dream: open her own restaurant. After years of saving and nearly not enough research and planning, Lynh quit her job in May of 2021 and found herself a ghost kitchen. Despite struggles in its infancy, Angie’s is now a mobile pop-up vendor and caterer. Angie’s can be found at a number of farmer’s markets as well as breweries throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.

Lynh and her small team are very excited to embark on the next step of this journey. Angie’s will continue to set up at farmer’s markets, breweries, and the occasional festival and begin to introduce some retail options such as bottled sauces and spring roll packs.

Always moving, Angie’s goal is to grow into a food truck and eventually a brick and mortar.
